Ipsita Paul has been acting & dancing since she was 3 years old and marching to the beat of her own drum for just as long. An only child, originally from Ottawa, Canada, she is formally trained in acting and is a clasically trained dancer. She attended York University in Toronto, Canada on a Fine Arts scholarship.
For as long as Ipsita can remember she dreamed of moving to New York and performing on the Broadway stage...so she did! After 6 years of fulfilling her Broadway dreams in such shows as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat starring Donny Osmond, Footloose, The Music Man, Never Gonna Dance & Contact (NAACP Theatre Award Nomination for Best Actress), she decided to switch things up and apply her passion and talents to film & TV. This shift in her career also brought about a cross-country move to Los Angeles. During her stay she worked on several projects including Grease, ABC’s General Hospital and various TV commercials.
After spending some time in LA, Ipsita decided to get back to her Canadian roots and return to Toronto. She focused her energy on the film/TV and print markets in the city. Ipsita has been fortunate to work with incredible talents on a variety of hits on the big and small screens, as well as hone her skills and discover new aspects of her industry to become as versatile as she can. She is currently the face of Cadbury Thins in a National ad campaign.
Forever considering herself a true "Canuck", Ipsita now resides in Los Angeles to pursue her dreams and calls it home…for the moment!
