Media personality who's most famous for being one of the co-hosts on The View from 1999-2002. Lisa replaced the fired Debbie Matenopoulous on the show and soon proved herself as untalented as her predecessor. Much of the time she sat silent on the couch rarely venturing to offer her opinion on anything. When her contract expired in 2002, Lisa decided to leave the show saying she wanted to pursue other projects. One of these other projects involved hosting her own show on the National Geographic Channel. In recent years, Lisa has turned up as a special topics reporter for The Oprah Winfrey Show.

| Members of a fraternity at Appalachian State University once invented the "Lisa Ling Drinking Game." The frat brothers would watch tapes of The View and take a drink whenever Lisa said something on the show. None of them ever got more than a mild buzz. This was because Lisa usually sat silent on the show, hardly ever saying anything.
