Actor Kunal Nayyar was born on April 30, 1981 in London England to a family of Punjabi descent. His family moved to New Delhi, India when he was a child. He moved to the US in 1999, and was bitten by the acting bug while attending college. Kunal has quickly made his mark on Hollywood, starring as Rajesh "Raj" Koothrappali on the smash hit sitcom The Big Bang Theory. Nayyar can next be heard in the forthcoming animated sequel Ice Age: Continental Drift.
