In 2001, Jessica appeared at the People's Choice Awards ceremony and at the Golden Globe Awards, where she was nominated for best actress in a dramatic television series. She is currently focusing on her career in film.
In 2005, Jessica was seen in two comic book adapted film, Sin City

. The two films eventually became her top two current box-office hits of her career. She played the erotic dancer Nancy Callahan in Sin City
