Ric Addison is a strikingly handsome African-American actor who was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee where he went to school with another well-known African-American actor, Samuel L. Jackson. Must be something in the water. He began acting while he was a student at Tennessee State University in Nashville. When he moved to Los Angeles in the 1970's, it didn't take long for him to catch on. He appeared in numerous movie and television shows throughout the 80's and 90's including: Inside Moves, Hill Street Blues, One Day At A Time, Manimal, NYPD Blue and Jesse. His role as Mr. Us, the photograher from US Magazine on the hit show, The Facts of Life, won critical praise as well as countless female admirers. In another biography, it was reported that he made several pilots that did not sell in the 1980's. At any rate, he never became the huge star that was once predicted.
