Silas Adams is introduced as the "bag man" for Magistrate Clagget in season one. Al convinces him that he'd be better off allying with Deadwood rather than Yankton, and Adams proves himself in the season one finale by cutting Clagget's throat.
At the begining of season two, we see a jelousy between Silas and Dan (mostly on Dan's part) but they both remain loyal members of Al's inner circle. Silas Adams was a historic character. |
