Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Will is the youngest of three boys and can relate to Cory's plight. "I was always trying to hang out with my brothers when I was younger," he recalls. His older brother, Gary, is a unit trust trader in New York; his middle brother, Greg, is teaching English in Asahikawa, Japan.
The teenage Friedle began acting professionally when he was in the fifth grade. At the urging of his drama teacher, he auditioned for a bit part in a professional production of "A Doll's House," and soon became one of the child leads.
Will recently completed filming the movie, "Trojan War," where he played the lead. His television credits include a starring role on "True Blue," and a guest appearance on "Law and Order." He has worked on several cable programs, hosting "Totally Kids' Sports," "Don't Just Sit There" and "Home Video Bloopers." He has also appeared in national television commercials, as well as a pilot for National Geographic.
