Jeanette Biedermann is a German actress and singer. With only six years, she had her first appearance as acrobat. After she left the middle school, she began a schooling as hair dresser by the well known Udo Walz. But she didn't continued, when she won her first singer competition in the biggest German daily newspaper. After that she was on the preliminary decision for the European Song Contest. With her song 'Das tut unheimlich weh (It hurts so much)' she made the fourth rank.
Then in 1999, Jeanette began her carrier as actress in the hight rated German soap opera Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten and played for five years the role of 'Marie Balzer'. She then played in the Sat.1 original movie Liebe ohne Rückfahrschein on the side of René Steinke (Alarm für Cobra 11) the as the dance teacher 'Julia Behrendt'.
As a singer, Jeanette is also successful. To today she released six albums. 2003 and 2004 she was Juror in the German edition of Star Search. On April 2, 2005 she won the music award ECHO in the category 'Best Video National' for the clip to her single 'Run with Me'.
In fall 2005 she filmed the sitcom Dina - Flaschengeist auf Probe, but Sat.1 canceled the show, before even one episode aired. The production company wanted to press churches against Sat.1, but didn't get through with it. Biedermann herself continued the work with the German network station.
From 2005 to 2008, Jeanette dated her guitarist Jörg Weisselberg, who worked with her before side by side on her album 'Naked Truth', which was released 2006.
Since spring 2008, she is working on her next project as an actress for the telenovela Anna und die Liebe, once again for the Sat.1 network.
