Paramore is a rock band formed in Franklin, Tennessee. The founding members of the band are Josh Farro, Zac Farro, Jeremy Davis and Hayley Williams.
The first song the band ever wrote was
Conspiracy and in the beginning they mostly performed in smaller venues around the Nashville area, and in April 2005 the band was officially signed by the label Fueled by Ramen, after the CEO and co-founder of the label had gotten his hands on Paramore's demo and because of that saw them live.
Just after they started recording their first album,
All We Know Is Falling Jeremy Davis left the band because of personal reasons. The band continued recording the album without filling the empty position until just before their tour, when John Hembree joined. Five Months after Davis departure he rejoined the band.
After touring a lot during 2006 the band started recording their second album
Riot! in January 2007. On June 21st the album was released and it made a much bigger impact then the bands first album and is considered the bands breakthrough, it entered the Billboard 200 at number 20, the UK charts at number 24, and sold 44,000 its first week in the United States.
On March 23d 2009 Paramore has started recording their third album and the album is expected to be released sometime this summer.
