Anyone wishing to read the full interviews of Jeff Kober, that I used for a quote source, can find those and others at the official Jeff Kober website. There are several more listed there also. This is a very private individual and there is very little information available about him to be found.

Jeff Kober had a rather uncomfortable time portraying, Satanist serial killer, Patrick Channing in the 1990 film, The First Power. Kober delved into the occult to research the role of Channing and found the experience to be psychologically troubling. This is a quote he made about acting, in an interview , at the time of the video release of The First Power, "As an actor, I have to do my work in such a way that I believe it. If I make my part believable, that transfers to the audience." Kober went on to state that by the time The First Power finished filming that the whole sitaution of the Channing role had come to be too much in the way of an emotional drain. (Source-Interview"Playing The Villain"by Lyn Jones, Image, March, 1990, Australia)
