Peter Zimmermann

Peter Zimmermann completed his play training at the university for play art "Ernst Busch". Already before his study he stood at the German theatre in Berlin on the stage. Later he played on different theatre arenas in Berlin, Karl Marx city (now Chemnitz), Zittau, Nordhausen and Frankfurt/Oder. His first cinema roles he got in the films Achillesferse and Bis dass der Tod euch scheidet (1979).
Since 1992 he is a play lecturer at the university in film and television in Babelsberg.
At present he plays in the Second Channel of German Television ZDF in the telenovela Wege zum Glück the role of Richard van Weyden.
