Born in San Jose, California, Candi Milo’s career first began at Disney. At one of the most famous theme parks in the world, Milo sang in several different shows. Eventually, she moved to Los Angeles and tried out stand-up comedy and even started singing for Princess Cruise Lines. Her stand-up routines were so successful that she opened up for Joan Rivers and Howie Mandel. She even auditioned for the Broadway show “Dreamgirls” and scored a role. In addition to all of these opportunities, she found her passion of voice-over while starring alongside Brad Pitt and Kim Basinger in the 1992 animated feature “Cool World.” Since then, she’s brought a variety of cartoon characters to life including Sweetie Pie on “Tiny Toon Adventures,” Nick Dean on “The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” and even Dexter on “Dexter’s Laboratory.” Christine Cavanaugh used to voice Dexter, but after she retired, Milo landed the job. She’s also worked on a several other cartoons including “The Angry Beavers,” “The Powerpuff Girls, “Johnny Bravo” and “Fanboy and Chum Chum.” Her voice-over experience goes on for miles. Milo is not only a voice artist, but she’s also an actress. From time to time, she’s been spotted on the small screen in shows like “Perfect Strangers,” “Days of Our Lives,” “Gimme a Break!” and “Knot’s Landing.” She resides in Calabasas, California with her daughter.
