Heather Menzies, who played Jessica in

The Sound of Music. She followed this with a running part in television's
'The Farmer's Daughter, a small part in the movie
Hawaii, guest roles in many television series. She portrayed a television reporter in the 1977 television special
"Tail Gunner Joe."
In the meantime she continued to study attending the workshop of Milton Katcellas. Married to actor Robert Urich until his death, Heather enjoys being the decorator for their home in Studio
City, Calif. Both the Urichs were avid gardeners and spent much time growing vegetables in
their backyard. Heather Menzies lists her hobbies as cooking, horseback riding, swimming, tennis and skiing.
