Iliza Shlesinger

Iliza Shlesinger, born in 1983, is a Jewish-American comedian from Dallas, Texas. While growing up there she attended Greenhill School, where she participated in the school's improv team. She would later graduate from Emerson College.

Iliza is the host of The Weakly News, an online "hard hitting" news series that airs on The Stream of Consciousness. She often tours, most notably on the Great Plains Comedy Festival in Saskatchewan. In 2008, Iliza won the sixth season of The Last Comic Standing, where she twice won head to head eliminations. She was the first female contestant to win. After winning Iliza hit the road, joining The Last Comic Standing Tour.
