Freddie Prinze, Jr. was born in Los Angeles, California and is the son of Katherine Elaine Cochran and Freddie Prinze, an American actor and comedian who died from an accidental shooting in 1977, he grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and Puerto Rico and has had an interest in acting since he was young. He graduated high school in 1994 and then moved to Los Angeles and started auditioning for television roles.
Prinze Jr. movie debut was in 1996 in a movie called To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday and after that he has starred in several movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer and She's All That just to name two. Prinze Jr. currently stars in his own television series, Freddie.
Prinze Jr. is married to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar and is trained in several sorts of martial arts and tap dancing and collecting comic books is two of his hobbies.
