She plays Annika Hansen, Seven Of Nine Tertiary Adjunct Of Unimatrix Zero One, who is very funny, strict, organized, and wakes up Captain Janeway in the middle of the night. She also appeared in another science fiction series called Dark Skies. Both of these series made her very popular.

Her birth name is Jeri Lynn Zimmerman. One of the Producers of Star Trek is Herman Zimmerman. Because of this, the guy that created "The Doctor" was named Dr. Lewis Zimmerman.
 
.....and even though "The Doctor"'s actual name was mentioned yet, the staff referred to him as Dr. Robert Joseph Zimmerman, "Robert" because of the actor's first name, and "Zimmerman" because of the names of Herman and Jeri.
