Franco was born in New York and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting derived from his mother being a stage actress as that was the environment he was raised in.
Franco Vega has studied with great teachers at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and the Larry Moss Studio. He has also studied under Arlene Golanka, Lisa Robertson and Jason Buyer. He enjoys doing plays on his down time and has worked on "Lost Causes & Impossible Loyalties", "The Only Song I Know", "You Shall Give Me Grandsons", and "True West" to name a few.
Franco's first SAG job dates back to 1990, over two decades ago and he has since had the opportunity to work with many established actors, writers and directors such as David Fincher, Aaron Sorkin, and Justin Timberlake in the movie "The Social Network"; Keifer Sutherland and Ian Toynton in the new pilot "Touch"; Douglas Spain, Efren Ramirez, Shaun Weiss, Dante Basco and Nicholle Tom in the movie "Rave"; Robert LaSardo and Aresenio Hall in Martial Law and CSI: Miami; Russel Means in Looks Twice; Skeet Ulrich in "Law & Order; Damian Lewis in "Life"; and David Boreanaz in "Bones" to name a few. Franco has few more projects in the works and is very excited about pursuing his dreams and seeing his passion come to life.
