None of the other castaways know much about Jackson. He's new at school, and keeps his feelings to himself. Everyone has theories about why Jackson is so cool, some think he's dumb and doesn't know how to communicate, while others think that he may have a juvi-hall past. Some even think that he may be super-intelligent and operating on a higher level than the rest of them. What secrets is Jackson hiding?

Emily Kmetko's closest friend since coming to Boulder has turned out to be Damon, a fellow worker at the Pizza Shack, and a struggling songwriter as well. He's worked hard to become Emily's friend and it appears the two may become more. Though Damon is also a good friend of Emily's other new potential love interest (the currently on tour) Razor and who knows what would have happened had things developed much farther.

But...it was recently revealed that Damon is planning to leave for LA after a record producer offered him the chance to have his songs performed by a hot new band. He's planning to "check out the scene for a while" as he told Emily.
