Thomas Dekker is an American actor, and was born on December 28, 1987 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Dekker first acted at the tender age of six, appearing in an episode of CBS' 'The Young and the Restless.' He then appeared in the 1994 film 'Star Trek: Generations', wherein he played an alternate timeline offspring to Capt. Jean-Luc Picard. In 1995, he played the only non-evil supernatural child in John Carpenter's remake of 'Village of the Damned.'
Dekker's first regular TV role was as Wayne Szalinski's son Nick on the syndicated adaptation of 'Honey, I Shrunk The Kids.' The show ended in 2000, and Thomas spent most of the next decade doing voice work and appearing in guest roles on various TV programs. His next big part came in 2006. Dekker played the recurring role of Zach on NBC's 'Heroes.'
2008 proved to be his breakthrough however, when he landed the role of John Connor in 'Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.' The series was very well received by both fans and critics, but only lasted a mere 31 episodes before being canceled by FOX.
Lately, horror seems to be calling Thomas, as he appeared in the 2009 slasher film 'Laid to Rest' (along with its 2012 sequel), and the 2010 remake of 'A Nightmare on Elm Street.' Dekker could most recently be seen as a regular on The CW's short-lived drama 'The Secret Circle.'
