Taylor Humphries is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School where his acting ability was first heralded by a drama teacher, who compared his talents to that of several famous alumni.
Out of high school he received a full acting scholarship to the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, and was also heavily recruited by San Diego State, Michigan, Penn State, Colorado, Colorado State, Oregon State and Illinois, but opted to attend Hampton University, a historically black university. His first appearance on TV was as Petty Officer Smith on J.A.G. on CBS. He has produced, written and appeared in several well known TV shows, 2 films and has 5 projects as a producer/writer/actor in development. Taylor is also an accomplished musician with songs playing on N.C.I.S, Keeping Up w/ The Kardashians, Dr. 90210, several MTV shows and NBC. With access to a legendary music & licensing company, Taylor has started remixing & licensing songs made famous by his godfather and super-music producer/writer Billy Davis, who is known for writing and producing such hits as "Higher and Higher" & "To Be Loved" by Jackie Wilson, "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" "Rescue Me" by Fontella Bass and his many collaborations with Berry Gordy and Gwen Gordy. With over 600 songs in Billy Davis' catalog, stay tuned for some great collaborations.
