John Franklyn-Robbins Trivia
Along with
Daphne Ashbrook
,
Guy Siner
,
Maurice Roƫves
,
Olaf Pooley
and
Christopher Neame
, he is one of only six actors to appear in both the
Star Trek
and
Doctor Who
franchises. He played a Time Lord in the 1975
Doctor Who
serial "
Genesis of the Daleks
" and Macias in the
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Season Seven (and penultimate) episode "
Preemptive Strike
". Siner also appeared in the former. Interestingly in all six cases, the actor in question plays a human in one and an alien in the other and dies in one but not the other.
