played Detective Woody Hoyt [Episodes 60+] in Crossing Jordan

A detective from Wisconsin Detective Hoyt is no yokel. A shockingly adept detective and the closest thing to a love interest for Jordan.

played Quinn Mallory [Seasons 1-4] in Sliders

A physics genius, Quinn Mallory accidentally invented sliding when he was trying to create an anti-gravity device. After a test run, he invited his coworker and friend Wade Welles and physics professor Maximillian Arturo. However, he accidentally gave the timer too much power, causing bystander Rembrandt "Crying Man" Brown to be pulled in, too.
After years of Sliding, Quinn finally managed to get Wade and Rembrandt home (Arturo had been killed), although Quinn and a new Slider named Maggie Beckett were stuck still Sliding. After a few months, the duo finally made it to Earth Prime, finding that it had been invaded by the Kromaggs. Quinn was thrown into a prison camp, where he was reunited with his mother. However, she then revealed that he didn't originate from Earth Prime, but was actually from Kromagg Prime. His real parents, doubles of his Earth Prime parents, brought him there so he would be safe. They also sent his brother, Colin, to another world. Quinn is then given the coorinates of Colin's world, and after escaping the camp, he, Maggie, and Rembrandt track him down and convince him to join them.
Unfortunately Quinn never made it to his true home. A Slidecage was created by the humans of Kromagg Prime, redirecting all wormholes connecting to Kromagg Prime to a prison world so that the Kromaggs could never return. Also, Doctor Oberon Geiger later caused Quinn to merge with a different looking double of his from another world. Quinn "Mallory" Mallory's mind and personality were dominant, and the two were never separated.
