The wife of Mayor Richard Lockwood and mother of Tyler Lockwood. She is very snobbish and is a member of The Founder's Council.

She and her husband have a very strained and hostile relationship. They are constantly at each others throats like a pair of angry wolves. Mrs. Lockwood is also a bad influence on her son Tyler and his negative behavior comes from her bitchiness.

However, in the season finale, she shows for the first time that she cares for Richard when he is knocked out by the device used to attack vampires. After releasing Sheriff Elizabeth Forbes, they vainly tried to save him from the burning basement.
