Georgina was born and brought up in London. She went as a day girl to St Paul's Girls School, London, and then as a boarder to Downe House, Berkshire. After 'A' levels at St Edward's School, Oxford, she took a degree in politics at Oxford Brookes University before spending two years at LAMDA (the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.)

Georgina (also called Georgie) is.the daughter of Judge John Rylance. She is best known for the role of Marion Waldo in Dinotopia, but is busy with many other projects in the UK as well as the US.

She stars in a recent Poirot adventure, The Mystery of the Blue Train.
