Santiago Cabrera

Santiago Cabrera – anybody heard of this name? If not let me tell you a little bit about him. He was born in Caracas, Venezuela on May, 1978, into the family of a Chilean diplomat and his stay-at-home wife. Sine his father was a diplomat, Santiago was growing up all over the place – England, Romania, Canada and Spain. His parents came back to Chile when he was 15, and at his teen age he spent his time chiseling his athletic skills. But then, thanks to his drama teacher in school he switched gears and began his journey into acting.

He appeared in several shows and series, such as Spooks, Judge John Deed, As If, Empire, ShakespeareRe-told; as well as in a few high-grossing feature films – Haven (Orlando Bloom, Anthony Mackie , Bill Paxton, Zoe Saldana), Love and Other Disasters (Brittany Murphy), Goal II (Kuno Becker), and Che: Part One (Benicio del Toro). But it was his roles as one of the main characters in the NBC’s series Heroes that put his name on the map – he played an addicted painter Isaac Mendez, who could portray future. That role brought him fame and many more opportunities to follow, which he is now busy selecting for the path to walk.
