Born October 10, 1959 in Madison, Wisconsin, Bradley Whitford attended Wesleyan University where he earned a major in both Theater and English. From Wesleyan, Bradley went on to attend the prestigious Juilliard School where he earned his master's degree in theater.
Bradley made his stage debut in the off-Broadway production of "Curse of the Starving Glass," which landed him roles in the Broadway productions of "The West Wing", "Three Days of Rain", and Aaron Sorkin's "A Few Good Men."
In 1993, Bradley made his television debut on the short-lived NBC series, Black Tie Affair, and went on to star in The Secret Lives of Men, which ABC pulled from its lineup after seven episodes. After landing the role of Josh Lyman on The West Wing, the critically acclaimed series helped propel Bradley's career and he landed roles in several movies including Billy Madison, Kate & Leopold, Bicentennial Man, and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
Aside from The West Wing, Bradley appeared in guest star roles on several series including NYPD Blue, ER, Malcolm in the Middle, and The X-Files.
Currently, Bradley is married to actress Jane Kaczmarek, of Malcolm in the Middle fame, and reside in Los Angeles, California with their three children, Frances, George, and Mary Louisa.
Bradley can be seen as Danny Tripp on the NBC series, Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip.
