Name: Barbara Pewterschmidt
Age: Unknown but assumed to be between 60 & 70
Status: Currently married to Carter Pewterschmidt (Ex wife of Ted Turner)

Barbara is the mother of Lois, Carol and as we learn in “Fat Guy Strangler”, (& then unknown to Lois and Carol), a son named Patrick.
It it seen in an unfinished animatic on one of the DVD sets, Carter and Barbara have another daughter who is a twin to Lois that is kept in a cage in the basement, however she has never been mentioned in the series proper.

Barbara was first introduced in the episode “Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater”.
It is unknown whether she dislikes Peter as much as Carter does but she has so far never defended him either.

She appears in “Bill and Peter's Bogus Journey” when after Lois sleeps with Bill Clinton, Peter chooses Barbara after Lois tells him the only way they can be even is if he sleeps with another woman.

Aspirations: Lois has always aspired to be a model, which she recently accomplished. She also wants to make her daddy proud of Peter, and the life they have together. Other than that, she mainly wants to be a good mother and wife.
History: Lois grew up spoiled rotten, in a large mansion. All her life, she got whatever she wanted, and she grew up watching the other girls around her grow up, marry rich, and lead the same life. Which is what everyone expected of her, although deep down that's not what she wanted at all. One night, she went down to her mansion's staff party, where she met Peter. And the rest is...history.
