Kirstie Alley was born on January 12, 1951, in Wichita, Kansas. Kirstie attended Southeast High School in Wichita, Kansas. When Kirstie was in college, she attended Kansas State University and the University of Kansas, but dropped out in her sophomore year to pursue acting. Kirstie's first appearances was on 2 very great game shows, Password and Match game. Kirstie starred in a few films after that, but her fame started to rise when she played Rebecca Howe in the hit TV show Cheers.
Kirstie was raised Methodist but is now a Scientologist, like her good friends John Travolta and Kelly Preston. John Travolta and Kirstie was on all three Look Who's Talking movies. Kirstie Alley was married to Parker Stevenson from December 22, 1983, until 1997. Kirstie and Parker has adopted a boy, and then a girl.
In 2005, Kirstie came back with a TV Sit Com known as Fat Actress. In this show, Kirstie portrayed an overweight actress trying to make it in Hollywood, and Kirstie shows that even big girls can have fun too.
Kirstie also worked on commercials for Jenny Craig.
