played Dr. Niles Crane in Frasier
Dr. Niles Crane, younger brother of Dr. Frasier Crane. Possibly the most popular character on the show. Shares many of the same interests as Frasier such as fine wines and the opera.
He was married to the controlling Maris (who is never seen), but they got divorced. His love interest is really with Daphne Moon. However for most of the show Daphne has no idea how Niles feels about her.
Niles has a different opinion about psychiatry than Frasier and referrs Frasier's radio show as "Pop Psychiatry". Niles has his own practice. |
