Deanna Troi is the ship's counselor and morale officer on The Enterprise. She often assists Captain Picard during diplomatic missions, including the one where Dr. Crusher was kidnapped, and many first contact missions. Her hair style and clothes always changes, and her favorite food is chocolate. She will eat anything that is chocolate from fudge to ice cream. She is friends with Commander Riker, and dated him once but they broke up because they were given different assignments in different locations. Deanna is a Betazoid. They are a species that looks like humans, but they can sense emotions and read minds. Her mother's name is L'Waxana Troi. The Trois often have problems, including the fact that Deanna's Mother wishes her daughter to be married. Deanna is friends with Guinan, who is also a great listener, and Dr. Crusher, who sometimes is very perceptive, like she has empathic powers herself.
