Born Zoe Tapper in 1981, Bromley, Greater London, England. (She is also billed as Zoë Tapper.)

She has been an actress since 2003 and first came to prominence playing Nell Gwynne, in Richard Eyre's award-winning film Stage Beauty (2004).

Zoe has recently appeared as the Vampire Monster-Smiter Mina Harker, in the ITV1 series Demons.

She has completed filming for The Grind - a story about the dark side of running an Eastend Nightclub and is shortly to start filming Desperate Romantics - a story that follows the life and love affairs of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood.
