Tessa is a mortal and was the love of Duncan MacLeod's life. They met when Duncan jumped onto a tour boat in Paris that Tessa was the guide for. It was love a first sight and they spent the next several years at each others side. Duncan even shared with her his true nature and past. They shored an antique store in the states and a barge on the Seine in Paris. Unfortunately, Tessa was taken from this world years before her time by a mugger who got startled. Duncan misses her even to this day and often wonders what might have been.
