Alexzandra Spencer Johnson was born on November 4th, 1986. She is the sixth child in a large family of ten children, with six brothers and three sisters. Alexz's brothers and sisters names are Matt, Andy, Jana, Brendan, Adam, Caity, Zac, McKenna, and Garrison. Matt and Jana are also actors, Brendon is a model!
Alexz first showcased her vocal ability and stage presence at age three, entertaining her large extended family with her song repertoire. She enrolled in singing lessons at age six, and still makes time for classical vocal training with her teacher, Joseph Shore. Her training has given her a profound knowledge of her ability and range.
For the past two years, Alexz has gained much experience in the studio. She began working as a demo singer on various projects, and worked with producers and songwriters, co-writing some of her own music, and developing her own direction and sound. During this time she received a factor grant, recording the song "More than Friends", and was a finalist in the YTV achievement awards. Alexz was now ready for her own demo to go out to record labels in the hopes of achieving her ultimate goal of becoming a recording artist, like her idol, Celine Dion. However her life was to take another direction. During most of Alexz's singing career, she was signed with an agency, doing commercial work, and some film, to help alleviate costs incurred with her singing career.
Alexz soon became apart of the Disney channel show So weird where she played Annie. Alexz was happy to have her own music on TV. Alexz is currently on the CTV show Instant Star and she plays Jude Harrison.
