Holly Robinson Peete

Holly was born in Philadelphia on 9/18/1964 and moved to Los Angeles at the age of 10. She comes from a showbiz family, her father Mathew played the role of Gordon on the long running kids tv show Sesame Street. Mother Delores is a personal manager to many prominant actors, including Holly.

Her first taste of acting was appearing on Sesame Street but her big break came 3 months after graduating from a college in France on the show 21 Jump Street as Officer Judy Hoffs. She also had the priveledge of singing the shows theme song. After a 5 year run on Jump Street she moved on to another hit show in "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper" (1992) with costar Mark Curry.
Other short lived shows to her credits include "For Your Love" (1998), "My Wonderful Life" (2002), "Like Family" (2003) and currently "Love, Inc." (2005).

She is married to former NFL quarterback Rodney Peete and has 4 children , twins Rodney and Ryan, Robinson and their youngest Roman. They are head of the HollyRod foundation which specializes in finding a cure to Parkinson's disease , which claimed her father in 2002.
