Duran Duran became an integral part of the New wave music movement of the 1980's.
Their slick, professionally directed videos were the first to contain story lines and filmed on professional 35mm film as opposed to the less expensive video tape of the day. This helped to skyrocket their success along with the new music video innovator MTV.
Although often out of favor to the music critics,
