played Jack Tripper in Three's Company
Jack Tripper is your average fun-loving, girl crazy, jokester living with two beautiful girls in a Santa Monica apartment. Going through cooking school, Jack always had a problem keeping a steady job to pay for his third of the rent with Janet and Chrissy, but most importantly, Jack had a hard time keeping up with the many girls he desired!
Through deceit, Jack, and his best friend Larry, wooed many young girls into their lives. Usually, Jack's living arragement with two beautiful girls wound up to be an obsticle with his girlfriends, who would not approve of the living arrangement. He would often lie about his relation to Janet and Chrissy, either claiming their sisters or cousins, or would have them leave the apartment. However, this would always fall through...either Janet or Chrissy, or their ever nosy landlords the Roper's would foil the date.
To add to Jack's life difficulties, he had to pretend to be gay to live with Janet and Chrissy, to please the conservative Mr. Roper. This often became a problem when Jack had dates, but they always managed to pull through.
Jack finally graduated from cooking school and was on his way to make his dream come true, however, it became difficult for him to find steady work as a chef. Jack went through trials of jobs, unable to keep a steady one, often sticking Janet and Chrissy with the rent. However, Jack was determined to get good jobs. Nevertheless, Jack still had many dates, with many problems.
With Cindy in as a roommate, Jack had more problems than ever with her clumsiness. She often bumped into Jack, knocking him all over the place! Luckily, this didn't hurt Jack too much as he was able to get a job with Mr. Angelino at Angelino's!
Alas, Cindy leaves and Terri moves in, resulting in more comical misunderstandings. The two had a great relationship and often found themselves confiding in each other. Mr. Furley always on his way to "turn" Jack straight and Larry still scheming to get dates. Jack finally gets his own restaurant Jack's Bistro, and alas his dream is coming true!
Jack finally settles with a lovely woman, Vicky Bradford, and moves away from Janet and Terri. This would be the setup for a new adventure, with Vicky's strict father as the Bistro's and their homes landowner. How will Jack handles this one? |
