Bogosian's solo performances drew the attention of Joseph Papp. Bogosian co-wrote the play Talk Radio and Oliver Stone directed the film version. He appeared in TV's The Caine Mutiny Court Martial under the direction of Robert Altman. He has done a lot of TV appearances including Miami Vice, Crime Story and The Twilight Zone. His notorious opus has been shown, profusely edited, on cable and PBS. But Bogosian is rather recognized for his monologue collections, including FunHouse, Drinking in America and Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll. He is of Armenian ascendant.
