Sam(uel) Nicholas Pepper (born 26th March 1989) was born and raised in Folkestone, Kent. He went to Pent Valley Technology College and has previously been awarded ‘Student of the Year’ for art whilst at school. He continued to use his artistic skills as a young graffiti artist whilst he lived with his grandparents.
Pepper has had many unusual jobs around Europe including as a clown in Malaysia, and dismantling tents in Italy. But, he has always wanted to succeed in film and photography as he is very passionate about art. In the coming years, Sam would like to pursue a career in photography.
In 2010 he entered the Big Brother house on day 52 as part of a task. He was viewed as a very antagonistic person whilst on the show, but was found quite popular because of his sense of humour. However, he was evicted on day 73.
Since then he has started up a YouTube channel where he interviews people, on the streets of London and at particular events, with fellow YouTuber’s. He also creates other comedy videos, including The Debassion Show, which he used to hold every week with his flat mate, George Kelly, who he lives with in Croydon. As well as several gaming videos of COD and Minecraft, and videos of his pet hedgehog- Mr Pricklesworth.
Sam has released two songs including ‘Ask Tom Cruise’ which he released in October 2010 in the hope of climbing the charts. He told the internet that if his single got to number one he would get Simon Cowell’s face tattooed onto his left bum cheek.
He also released another song called ‘Salt and Pepper’ with George Kelly, Snakeyman and SK in November 2010.
Since then he has made two parody song videos of ‘Swagger Jagger’ (aka ‘What the hell is swagger?’) by Cher Lloyd and ‘Friday’ (aka ‘Pie Day’ featuring Chip Daddy) by Rebecca Black.
He now has over 200,000 followers on Twitter, 30,000 subscribers on YouTube and almost 10,000 fans on Facebook.
Sam Pepper recently started up an anti-riot campaign called ‘Operation Cup of Tea’ in order to work with others to stop the riots. His campaign spread across England in the space of a day, leaving his page with over a quarter of a million members. Since his campaign was such a success he later continued to make a website in order to raise money for towns that had been ruined in the riots.
He continues to do many wild and exciting things all over the country and abroad in order to entertain his viewers, as he has always lived a carefree life and tends to take any opportunity that is available to him.
Sam is a vegetarian and does not drink as he says that he is ‘annoyed’ by the UK’s careless attitude towards binge drinking. He also says that he gets easily wound up by loud and attention-seeking people. Sam claims that he dislikes girls that act dumb and prefers girls that are naturally funny and cute.
