Carl is a gnome (a type of Link) who has an inclination for armed robbery, for which the Chicago police department is willing to look the other way in exchange for his valuable information and contacts in the Link community. He has a very antagonistic relationship with Nick (after stealing a stripper girlfriend away from him) and the suspicious Page, but gets along well with the sympathetic Kate. Carl is a skilled break-in artist, poker player, and scam artist, and by all accounts is popular with the ladies. |
