The blonde haired, blue eyed Lauren Lee Smith was born in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1980. After a brief career in modeling, Lauren soon landed roles in Sylvester Stallone's "Get Carter," the television series "2Gether" and the Pax TV mini-series "Christy: Choices of the Heart." Lauren also guest starred in "Homewood PI" and the pilot episode of "Dark Angel" before moving on to star as the psionic Emma DeLauro in the science fiction television series "Mutant X," where she remained for two seasons. After "Mutant X," Lauren acted in several movies, including Lie with Me and Art School Confidential, while playing a recurring character Lara Perkins in Showtime's "The L Word."
