She played Mary Richards, a news reporter that went through a divorce, in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, which had many spin-offs, including Rhoda, Phyllis, and Lou Grant. Betty White was also in The Mary Tyler Moore Show. Mary also starred in New York News with Madeline Kahn, and she founded MTM enterprises. She has appeared in many charity orginization commercials, including ones about Hurricanes, and kids with Diabetes.
