Neve Campbell

Neve's favourite horror movies are The Shining and The Changeling
Neve (pronounced "Nev") is an Italian word meaning "snow".
Neve is her mother's maiden name.
Married to Jeff Colt from 3 April 1995 to 8 May 1998 (divorced)
Did all her own dancing in "The Company" and put in the regular amount of work professional dancers usually put in to be in shape for the movie.
First role on Broadway was as a ballerina in "The Phantom of the Opera."
Voted one of People magazine's '50 Most Beautiful' list(1998) and (2000).
Dedicated to Tourette Syndrome charities (her step-brother is a victim).
After years of her life as a dancer, she remarks, "I have the ugliest feet in the world. But even if I didn't dance, they would still be ugly. My toes are too big!"
She suffered a complete nervous "mental breakdown" at 14 and needed intensive acupunture to repair the damages.
Remarks that in school, she was "a total loser." They even had a song about how ugly she was. She had absolutely no friends and no dates.
After seeing a production of "The Nutcracker," decided she wanted to be a ballerina. She started taking ballet at 6 and joined the National Ballet School of Canada at age 9.
After accumulating a laundry-list of dance injuries, Campbell moved from dancing into acting at the age of 15, when she performed in "The Phantom of the Opera" (ironically, as a ballerina) at the Canon Theatre in Toronto.
Although she had originally planned for a career in ballet, she had to quit after accumulating numerous injuries--fallen arches, pulled calf muscles, bunions, broken bones, deterioration of joints and more.
After she had finished production on her film about the Joffrey ballet "The Company" (2003), the Joffrey itself invited her to join the company itself. She respectfully declined, knowing her career would be extremely brief and a life of dance has already taken it's toll on her, causing permanent damage on her body.
