Ashton Kutcher

Christopher Ashton Kutcher was born on February 7, 1978 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. His parents, Larry Kutcher and Diane Finnegan, were both factory workers. He has one older sister, named Tausha, and a fraternal twin brother, Michael, who has cerebral palsy. His brother had an emergency heart transplant when the boys were only thirteen. Around this time, Kutcher's parents moved the family moved to Homestead, Iowa. Kutcher attended Cedar Rapids Washington High School, and Clear Creek-Amana High School. He earned good grades, played football, and participated in school plays. He did various odd jobs to earn money, like carpentry work, bailing hay, and castrating livestock. Unfortunately, in his later high school years, his parents divorced and he got in a bit of trouble - he and his cousin were caught breaking into the school and he was convicted of third-degree burglary. Because of this, he lost his college scholarships, and for a while, the respect of his hometown. Kutcher graduated in 1996, then went on to attend the University of Iowa, where he studied biochemical engineering, and joined the Delta Chi fraternity.

While attending the University, he entered a modeling competition called the "Fresh Faces of Iowa" and won a trip to New York, so he decided to drop out of college and pursue a modeling career. Kutcher modeled for Calvin Klein and Versace, but decided he wanted to try acting. He moved to Los Angeles was quickly cast as loveable dimwit Michael Kelso in the FOX sitcom, That '70s Show. This led to work in films, such as, Dude, Where's My Car? (2000), and Just Married (2003). Kutcher also produced and starred in the MTV practical joke show, Punk’d.

He has dated many famous Hollywood beauties, including singer Nelly Furtado and Brittany Murphy, his Just Married co-star. On September 24, 2005, Kutcher married actress Demi Moore, and became stepfather to her three children with actor Bruce Willis. Spiritually, Kutcher and Moore follow Kabbalah, a form of Jewish mysticism.
