Pierce Brosnan was born in Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland on May 16, 1953. Early in his life he moved to England. His father left the family when Pierce was young. He came back much later in life, but Pierce and his father have never been close. His first wife, Cassandra Harris, died in 1991 leaving him with 3 children. He married Keely Shaye Smith, afterwards and had two children with her.
