He was born in Missori in1942. Don isn't just a great actor, he is also a great painter, designer and woodcarver.
He also worked as a theatre professor and was a Captain in the United States Army (during the sixties).
Don began working in the film industry while teaching at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. He was in a lot of movies such as Look Who's Talking and A League of Their Own.
He had also his share of roles on television shows, such as participations on the x-files and Twin Peaks.
He was better known for his role as General Hammond in the hit sci-fi show Stargate SG-1.

Don tragically died on June 29, 2008, by a heartattack. He will be missed.
