He has had the following in-ring names/nicknames of Haku, Haku the Islander, King Haku, King Tonga, Meng, The Monster Meng, Prince Tonga, Tonga Fifita and Tonga Yociato.
| After Tonga retired from Sumo in 1977 he was trained for the squared circle by Giant Baba (Shohei Baba) and in 1978 he joined AJPW (All Japan Pro Wrestling).
