At the annual “King of the Ring” pay-per view on 28 June 1998 in Pittsburgh Ken pinned Jeff Jarrett in his semi final match & then beats ‘The Rock’ via submission to win the tournament & was crowned the new King of the WWF. |
In September he formed a stable with The Rock and Mankind (Michael Francis "Mick" Foley). In November 1998 he joined the heel stable of Vincent J. McMahon Jr. calling themselves “Mr. McMahon’s Corporation”. |
On 14 December Shamrock & fellow corporation member Big Bossman defeated the New Age Outlaws of Billy Gunn (Monty "Kip" Sopp) & ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James (Brian Gerard ‘B.G.’ James) to win the WWF Tag Team titles. |
In January 1999 he began a feud with Billy Gunn (Monty "Kip" Sopp), Goldust (Virgil Riley Runnels III) & Val Venis (Sean Morley) all of whom wanted to date Ken’s recently introduced on-screen sister Ryan Shamrock (Alicia Nicole Webb). |
In early 1999 he feuded with The Undertaker & his “Ministry of Darkness” which included The Acolytes & Mideon who kidnapped Mabel at the “Royal Rumble” & who changed his name to Viscera the next night on “WWF Raw is War”. |

On 19 June he won the "Gauntlet for the Gold" match to win the vacant NWA Heavyweight Title at the first ever weekly TNA pay-per view. He lost the title to Ron ‘The Truth’ Killings on 7 August and left TNA. |
On 22 October 2003 he appeared in the UPW then disappeared reappearing in the UPW again on 20 February 2004. On 30 June 2004 he returned to TNA where he aligned himself with the TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett. |
