Steve is the father of Lauren Tanner and the man most responsible for Rocky Mountain gymnastics even existing. Investing his own time and money into the place to make it a success and to give his daughter a chance to be an Olympic champion. He's also a shrewd operator and opportunistic individual who takes the advantages he's given and plays them. Such as briefly leaving The Rock for the Denver gym and taking with him the coach. Though upon his return he did bring the reclusive Sasha Beloff with him.
Steve's private life is not as clean cut as his professional one. His wife, Leslie, is a chronic abuser of drugs and abandoned the family years before. Creating more problems than one would think. Recently he's began dating Summer, his personal assistant, which has been met with stiff resistance by Lauren. |
