As a baby, Clark's father worked with a computer named "Brainiac." This computer being Brainiac began to learn and think on its own and it betrayed all of the kryptonians. Jor-El built a rocket ship that could transport Lar-El and Kal-El to the planet Earth. Clark's mother decided to stay on Krypton and die with her husband. They both released baby Kal-El and sent him to live on Earth as the planet exploded behind him.

Clark was then found by Jonathan and Martha Kent who took him into their family and raised him as their son. Not till he was a teen, however, did he learn about his alien heritage. As he grew up, Clark moved to Metropolis where he decided to use his powers for the good of man-kind.

Now, Clark is married to Lois Lane and he has aged quiet a bit. His voice has also changed and he leads the Justice League in battle. Clark was brainwashed by the alien "Starro" for years and then began to attack the League. Batman saved him and after freeing all the JLU members, Superman offered him a spot in the League. Batman declined.
