Kent McCord

Kent was born in Los Angeles in 1942 (his real name is Kent Franklin McWhirter), Kent grew up in Baldwin Park, California.
By 1962, Kent married his high school flame, Cynthia Lee Doty, and so far they have two daughters Kristen, and Megan, and a son, Michael.
Kent excelled on the football team at his high school.
His friendship with Ricky Nelson led to guest star stints in his TV show "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet," later he became a regular and a favorite of the audience. Kent had another famous classmate, his name Elvis Aaron Presley. Later he went on to act in many of Elvis's films. Universal signed Kent to a long-term and he began to appear in Universal shows. Jack spotted him and invite him to guest star in his classic series "Dragnet". These appearances convinced Jack of Kent's talent and he chose him to be one of the leads in Kent's most renown roles as officer Jim Reed in "Adam 12". Kent is an avid car racer and has participated in many racing series. His overwhelming TV and movie credits bear witness of his successful career. Kent has his own website where he share many of his interests and personal memories.
